Erica, Dental Assistant

I always had an interest in dentistry since I was very young. At every dentist appointment I remember asking so many questions about the instruments and materials they used. My passion for the dental field grew as I got older and motivated me to go to school for my x-ray license shortly after graduating high school. My favorite thing about being a dental assistant is being able to help everyone out in the office. Each day I help the hygienists with probing and x-rays as well as assisting the doctor during procedures, cleaning and occasionally helping the front desk with phone calls. In the near future I plan to apply to hygiene school and attend school for my CDA/ RDA. In my free time I enjoy relaxing with my family and friends, going to the beach and playing sports.
